Coley Park Community Centre

We have rides from Coley Park Community Centre on Wednesdays, starting at 5.15pm and ending at 7pm. Meet at the centre 15 minutes before the start for your bike to be checked. Email reading@avantifreewheelers.co.uk to sign up.

Hexham Road Community Centre – Tuesdays 5-7pm

Come for a ride, exploring the local area, including the Kennet and Avon Canal. We may also be stopping for some action at the pump tracks at Waterloo Meadows or Longbarn Lane. 

These rides are led by two adults – normally one cycling instructor and one youth worker. 

Riders should be 8 years or older. They need to stay with the group from the beginning to the end of the ride – and to listen to instructions from the ride leaders. 

Every rider needs parents’/guardians’ consent. Sign up online, or get a paper form at the start of the ride.

Please bring your bike, a drink and a snack and dress for the weather. 

Rides will normally take place every Tuesday from 9 May until the end of August 2023.
