Promotion for led rides

Welcome to Avanti Freewheelers Community Cycling Club – Reading, a club for juniors who want to take their cycling to a new and exciting level, who want to learn to ride, want to improve their riding skills, learn a new cycling discipline or who just want to have fun riding.

Join Southcote guided ride 23 Sept

We will be riding from Coronation Square in Southcote to Waterloo Meadows from 5pm – 7pm on Thursday 23 September. The ride will be open to anyone aged 10-14.

All riders will need written parental consent, a roadworthy bike and a helmet.

Under the guidance of our qualified coaches, instructors and guides, we’ll help you to meet new friends, explore new areas, have fantastic cycling adventures, learn new skills, maybe event try something new.

Our main focus for the club is those aged 12* to 16 (*includes those year 7 secondary school pupils aged 11) but we’ll also be running events for the younger rider aged 7 to 11 and there will be family orientated events too, and especially for the younger riders not just cycling related. Face painting anyone?

Currently based locally in Reading at three locations,  The Weller Centre, the Southcote Community Hub and the South Reading Community Hub, your club is a great place to meet your friends and make new ones whilst developing and refining skills that will last a lifetime.
